It has been ages since I have done a fashion test.. I don’t know why I stopped really .. Just got busy with other projects and commercial work really and didn’t arrange any for ages.. Anyway was going through my book the other day and remembered how much I used to enjoy updating and keeping my portfolio fresh so I contacted some photographers whose work I liked and started back testing this week. ….

A Very Big Catwalk Show — The Make Up Artist Army..

July has been a busy a busy month this year with completing the year with my students , lots of wedding and shoots, IMATS in London… loads of excitement and lots of hard work.

The opportunity to get involved in the Very Big Catwalk  , a record breaking attempt for most models down a catwalk, came along when the producer of the show Jane Galpin got in touch to ask if I could help organise the make-up team on behalf of the Liverpool Culture Company and lots of emails , phone calls and meetings later and it was the 4th of July and we were setting up in Cunard building ready to make-up lots of participants.

It was such a great atmosphere behind the scenes, organising almost one hundred make-up artists seemed like a huge challenge but I must confess due to their professionalism and talent the day ran really smoothly and we all had fun!!!

It was amazing to be part of such a memorable event in the city and work with other fantastic people on the hair team and in production of the show. Working on the Philip Armstrong finale section was exciting the dresses were so beautiful…

Definitely one experience I won’t forget and we helped set a guinness world record!!!!

Kellogs Event……..8/12/11

Last week I headed a team of make-up artists at a event at Kellogs. I met the Special K girl. What a cool job… It was a great day and the team provided make -up for all the ladies at Kellogs for their Christmas party . It was a good time had by all and certainly put me in the festive mood!!!!
